Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native, born in poor conditions on the 16th of September, 1958. Her mother, who was a failing schoolteacher and actor, made a living selling automobiles while her father was an automobile salesman. Jennifer was the second child of her parents and often accompanied her mother, who worked as a school teacher, to theater performances. She thought she was impressive. Jennifer's parents divorced when she was 5 years old. Jennifer lived the majority of her youth in British Columbia when her mother was able to move there with four kids. Jennifer was, despite having developed into an exceptionally talented young woman however, she was not the most studious individual. She was frequently the target of bullying as a result of her experiences in Canadian schools. In high school her passion for theater started to diminish. To combat this, her mother helped to take part as an extra in a variety of performances. She was inspired by her mom to inspire all the children in the family to develop a passion for and interest in the performing arts. After that, she immediately began acting.
